I don’t know what is wrong with me but I just can’t stop myself from buying things in the sales! Even though I am fast running out of money and I know I don’t really need anything I just can’t stop my self from going into any shops with big SALE signs. I’m even wasting my time looking through sites online, even though I don’t end up buying anything.
One thing I have brought online recently that I am looking forward to receiving is The Gentle Art of Domesticity by Jane Brocket. This was definitely not a impulse buy as I had been wanting the book ever since I found her site, soon after the book was published. Her blog is wonderful and every post is a joy to read and to look at. Her use of photography is fantastic and lifts most dull days.
But back to the shopaholic problem. I have also become addicted to this site I love reading the fashion related posts and have also been reading back into the archives. Susie posts so often that there’s just so much to read. What I love most about this site is her experimentation and honesty. This is one girl who seems she’s not trying to be anyone but herself.
I have started a fashion blog to document my teetering steps into creating my own clothes. bystephanie, is where I am going to post all my fashion related ramblings.
